our environment: Windows 2003 WSUS SP2 on Windows 2003 Native AD. We patch servers with option 2 GPO and a scheduled script that download, install patches and send us a mail requiring one manual reboot (if it's necessary).

I have installed WSUS 3.0 on a W2k3 64bit server. Update Service is setup to run as "Network Service". I am putting in place an inline Internet filtering device that will examine the Domain\Username and allow or deny access to sites based on the user.

When I highlight a few updates and approve to a group of machines, after it has done it's thing and refreshed, I hit the close button and the mouse stays busy for ever. The only way out is the three fingered salute and end the WSUS console task
