We have a couple of servers with the 3/gb switch in the boot.ini file.
I noticed that the actual switch was entered as 3/g instead of 3/gb.  Does
this make a difference?  Is there anyway to check if the switch is in effect?

I have a Windows Server 2008 DC which was originally not activated after
installation. The Server now does not allow me to login, how can i activate

How can I find a folder which is missing from one of our server. If it is
deleted...is there a way to recover it? I used to access through my machine
on a mapped drive to that server.  I logged on to the server to find it but
it was missing from there too.

My file server is Windows Server 2003 SP2 R2
A user copied 10 GB of data using an XP client from a folder on the server
to another folder on the server that replicates data to a different server

this is nuts, I'm playing around with server 2008 and I go to checkout the
new backup utility it comes with and to my suprise, shock, really, you can
only backup entire volumes? Someone please tell me its at least in the plans
to add this? or that I can add it now and just don't ...
