I have an old ASP COM+ component which works on all version of Windows
platforms. But in WS2008 it hits the error - "ASP 0177: 80004002". All
permission settings are in WS2008 (in different places). I duplicated
all the WS2003 settings (works in WS2003) but cannot get it to work ...

I have a small network with 4 computers and use a block of 5 static
IPs and assigned the addresses manually.The problem I have is that I
get a IP conflict error. I have flushed DNS, released and renewed IP,
but get the same error. Would appreciate help.

in t2003 domain, an XP Pro user/workstation shuts down all processes, logs
out, log in next day has same programs runninghe state that was left before
shutting down the programs and logging off.  For example... a Quickbooks will
be open back to the exact state or window before ...

we have a file server runing on windows server 2003 R2 with SP2 and I'm
using "File Server Resource Manager" to configure the qoutas on the servers.
the FSRM was working perfectly and suddenly I can't open it and I got the

i have a simply question about the win2k8 DC configured as RODC in a
geographical domain.
In  a local office  if a DC is configured as RODC can  i configure a logical

I am planning an NT4 to 2003 AD upgrade and am planning on using the
NT4Emulator key for roll-back purposes.  What is the disadvantage of
using this for a long period? I know kerberos wont work and group
policy wont work, but what else?

it takes a ridiculously long time to update Windows 2003 SP2 R2 SP2 was
released in 2007 (yes, that long ago) and there is something like 47 updates
plus IE7 that must be installed after every single Windows 2003

I need a software to change file attributes (delete the temporary flag)
so that all my files are replicated.
