I'm currently testing Terminal Server for use on slow links (256kbps max, +/-200ms delay). It goes pretty well for all needed applications, except for Office 2007. The Ribbon updates come trough at a very slow speed, like images.

I have noticed that I there is a user in Documents and Settings on my DC that is no longer with the company. I tried to delete the folder but some files were in use - ntuser.dat.LOG and NTUSER.dat. I tried opening ntuser.dat.LOG and got the following error.

Occassionally I'll find a file that I can't delete even from the server console - even after I've rebooted and no one else is on the server. They aren't dll's or executables or anything being used - sometimes they are pictures, sometimes sounds - but I can't delete them.

Do Windows Server 2003 still have the concept of Primary Domain Controller (PDC) and Backup Domain Controller (BDC)? If I shutoff the PDC, do I need to promote the BDC to a PDC? I would like to reinstall my PDC, but not sure what to do to let the BDC

My scheduled backup works fine, no errors log, but during restoring nothing appears at left control panel, just shows "no entries found". My report is: Backup Type: Normal Backup started on 16/4/2008 at 09:38.
