I have setup an FTP server on a stand alone Windows Server 2000 and it is
working fine using Anonymous Connections, but when I try to setup a user name
and password I cannot get past the login screen unless I give the user Admin
privileges!?

in the last week on 2 separate occasions the inetinfo process has faulted w/

We have a Windows 2003 server with Active Directory. I have gone into
AD, opened properties of a user, chose Account tab and checked on the
box "change password at next login".
When the user logged on anew, there was no prompt for changing the

I have four dell poweredge servers, each with the same general problem, the
system drive is configured too small, such that it too quickly ran out of
space.
With all four, upon first receipt, I moved the program files directory to

I am trying to install os as a dual boot on the system with the SATA drives.
I got disks from the manuacturer with all the drivers but when I select F6 I
am prompted for the floppy disk. I don't have a floppy drive on ma machine.  
Any solution here?  Someone mentioned USB floppy - ...

Is there any way to access files stored on a server running 2003 remotely
while I am out of town? Something like what the new Windows Home Server will
be able to do.

printed out of Solomon, but sometimes document prints out of things like

I need to permanently map a drive (located on a different domain) on a
windows 2000 server. Without requiring any user to be logged in. I'd like to
just turn on the server and have it mapped the drive, just as services are
running without any initial login in.

I am trying to set up a low disk space alert with an action of "Send a
network message to:" but I want to send that message to multiple machines.  
I've tried seperating machine names with semi-colons, commas and spaces.  
None of those has worked.  How do I do this?

Do you know why the policy can't be happened in client which applied in OU?
But it can happened when it is applied in the Domain Name.

Having just checked some backups it appears that ntbackup does not backup
the evt files from system32\config
Is this by design?
Is there a way I can backup evt files?

I have a w2003 server with two nics, say 192.168.1.10 and 192.168.3.10.
I have a printer at 192.168.0.20.
How can I print to this printer from the 192.168.3.0 network without
allowing ANY OTHER communication between these two subnets...?
