I am trying to PXE boot this computer against a Windows server 2008 with
WDS, but is does not work. It takes about 30 minutes just to start loading
WinPE and after 2 hour the boot.wim file as been loaded.
The computers are connected to a Cisco 3750G switch.

I use the /debug4:debug.log switch with winnt32.exe but the debug.log file
is not create during setup / is not there after the unattended installation
is finished.

using mdt 2008 to deploy server 2008....
there are 2 parts... the unattended build and capture, and then the second
part is deploying that captured wim. Each part has its own task sequence and
an unattend.xml file available for use. I'm trying to get clear on what its
"ramdisk device options" boot option after MDT 2008 build and capture18 Apr 2009 13:10 GMT1
using mdt 2008 update1 to deploy Server 2008... ran an LTI build and capture
task sequence which completes fine, but the target system (and the resultant
wim image when deployed) is left with 2 boot options:
1. ramdisk device options
does mdt use imagex or setup?18 Apr 2009 13:10 GMT1
when using mdt 2008 update 1 to deploy a custom server 2008 wim image, does
it use imagex.exe to apply the image, or does it use setup.exe to install
it?
