We have a PowerEdge 2850 server with 6GB RAM running Windows Server 2003 Standard x64 Edition and SQL Server 2000 Enterprise. Windows recognize all 6GB of RAM but the server is making lot of disk access.

I try to make a Repair-Installation on Windows 2000 Server (IBM x225). After booting the Server-CD i press the F6 Key to choose a special RAID Driver (IBM ServRAID V5i). That works fine. (I insert the Driver-Disk and the driver was load).

When granting a Active Directory user access to a folder on a server, do I have to add the user to the Users group on the Server? Is is the only thing I have to do is share the folder and grant the user permissions on the share?
