As we now, in Windows, even Administrator user can't read files for
which he doesn't have access permissions (i.e., a file with all
permissions removed).
To access such files in Windows, a program needs to use a special Backup

I have a W2K3 R2 server. It installs fine, but as soon as I try and upgrade
it to W2k8, the install fails. The following message is logged to the System
Log after the eventual roll back:

Hi, when I configure my server I get Access is Denied (or just when I try
installing sonething).  I can't copy files out of my user profile, I can't
even view my windows folder.  I am logged in as administrator.  I think I did
something when I was in 'local security policy'.  ...

Hi, when ever I try to configure my server it says that Configure Your Server
(cys.exe) is already running.  I tried task manager to stop it and it did
nothing.  Then I restarted the computer and when I loged back in it restarted
and locked up again.  Any help would be thanked.

We are looking into transitioning over to Server 2008 servers. I had
heard that when bringing 2008 servers into the environment, you should
start with your DC's (either upgrade or clean) before moving over

The 'default' size when W2K3 is installed is 1.5 times RAM up to 4096 Meg.  
Will I jeapordize my ability to get a crash dump if I have say 10 GIG of RAM
but I only have a pagefile of 4096 Meg?

I setup roaming profiles by setting up user folders on the server, then I
mapped the workstation to the folder and set up the profile path under active
directory but yet when I log in and out of a computer, I still see the user
folder as empty.  Please advise what I did wrong?

When trying to install Server 2008, after entering the product key, I get the
following error, "Windows installation has encountered an error and needs to
be restarted. The only option at this point is to select the red x and force

custom full and incremental backups of my servers. The functionality appears
