My computer on XP Home has recently recovered from a stop error and crash. I
tried recovering using "Novastor Disaster Recovery Boot Disk" which did not
work so
I reinstalled XP Home.

I got the message from my server "There is an IP address conflict with
another system on the Network". When I check through the event Viewer
it shows "The system detected an address conflict for IP address
10.0.0.1 with the system having network hardware address

I have a C:\ partition that in "my computer" shows 4.00GB but when I go
into disk management it shows 59.xxGB. why isn't windows seeing this?
How can I fix this?

Ok, I need help and I need help quick.  I went to upgrade my main server to
R2 today.  I started the setup and it was going smooth, entered in my key and
everything, then it got down to 25 minutes installing and nothing.  Stopped.  
Did a reboot and tried to repair the setup, but ...

I have server 2003 with 3 hard driver ... two are dynamic drives and one
is basic ...
boot and system partition is on basic drive ...
I want to convert it to dynamic drive and i simply can't ..

Each area have his own workgroup (windows Workgroup: Class1 ....)
Each user has a local account
Files are stored on \\@IP\Doc\School

(C:\WINDOWS\Temp) on another disk in another directory. What should I do ?

I am setting up a Win2003 box to act as a web server. I haven't
installed much yet, but the computer is extremely slow to boot. I get
the logon screen pretty fast, then the wallpaper, but the icons take
about 10 minutes before they show up.

Runs Win Update, and it wants to install SP1. Fine.
After a while it fails when copying shell32.dll.

i can not get w2k3sp1-standard to sync to a time server.  i have tried
time.windows.com, time.nist.gov, and even to a local machine.  other
machines on my lan can sync to those sources, and they can sync to the lan
machine also.  i have added port 123 udp and tcp to the windows ...

I recently added  a second scope to my DHCP so that I now have
192.168.0....254 and range 192.168.1.....254
I then added a second server and assigned it a static IP 192.168.1.4.
All was well with authentication and seeing other shares on the network.

I am trying to put up a new server (IBM x3500 with ServerRaid 8K).
When I install the SAS Raid driver using F6 and adding the driver, I
can see and partition the drive array with no problems.  After
formatting the array, just as it is time to copy over the files to the
