I have create an unattended installation for win2003r2 I have put all my drivers in the $oem$\$$\Drivers on the cd. But when i delete these files after instalation, everything still works fine.

I have followed the wizard in the DHCP setup filled in the need info. When I set the pc up to retrieve a ip address from DHCP i have no connection. not sure if im missing somthing. Scope is activated and running but the pc will not recieve a Ip any help would be gratefull.

I have noticed that if you enable the second mobo NIC, and unplug the cable, it sort of kills all internet and some other stuff. Is there a setting that if one NIC goes down, it will run on just one? It seems currently to *require*

Is there anything special that needs to be done for Windows 2003 Server Enterprise 64bit to see 16 gigs of memory? Currently the OS sees only 14 gigs? Thank you.

I added 4GB ram to my W2K3 STd server so now it has a total of 8GB ram. I know I need W2K3 ent. edition in order to see all the new ram. My server is SAN attached (to an IBM DS4300 with Fiber Channel) and is an SQL2000 Enterprise Edition application server too.

I noticed that my client workstations all seemed to be set at different times and so I went to the DC on our domain and specified that it use an outside source to sync with for the time. That part went fine and right away the DC updated itself with the correct time,

A previous problem I had was caused by allowing Shadows Copies unlimited disk space and so the system ran out of space on C: What are the recommended settings for Shadow Copies. Do client PCs need special software to access the Shadows?
