We are currently deploying a new Windows 2003 R2 environment for a customer.
We have migrated the domain from NT 4 to the latest version, a full in place
upgrade with 2 new DC.

On one of the Win 2003 servers I have the following effect:
- when started, the Perfmon does not begin to show the usual CPU, disk and
memory activity: the vertical red line is not moving
- also, when I try to add an object, the Performance objects, as well as

How well does the inplace upgrade work to go from NT to 2003? Has anyone had
much sucess? Any gotchas to be aware of? Would this be recommended for a PDC
or is a fresh install needed?
