I have installed ADS 1.1 on a Server 2003 machine (SP1).
I am getting an error when bootoing the 'client' machine using PXE that
there is a failur creating a RAMDISK.
I have looked at the microsoft bulletins and even reinstalled ADS while

My understanding is that to do this, you don't have to reinstall the

I just capture an image from a Dell 1655MC and try to deploy it to a Dell
1855 but it didn't install the Network Adapters on the 1855. Is there a way
to add these adapters to the sysprep.inf file? I have the network adapters in
the "presystem" folder so ADS can connect with the ...

I currently have a PC with Win XP and am trying to overwrite that with win
server 2003 but it keeps giving me an error telling me Win XP can't be
upgraded to win 2003. I am not actually trying to upgrade just overwrite and
it keeps booting me off. Any ideas?

Since R2 beta days I have never gotten Windows 2003 R2 to work due to
multiple schema compatibilities.  All domain controllers are Windows 2003
SP1 and there are no Windows 2000 servers, domain controllers or clients in
this forest/domain.  For example:

Eventually I want to do RPC over HTTP so my users Outlook 2003 can act just
like they are on the LAN.
For now I would like to get OWA working.

I'm running ADS 1.1 and after I run sysprep and capture an image on my
master device it boots into the DA (as it should). But once the capture is
complete and I try to boot the master device into windows again the Windows
Setup wizard runs and trys to put in the variables names ...

The installation of the upgrade seemed to go ok, no dialog boxes or anything
post boot, all expected services running. However when I go to Add/Remove
Programs it's empty.
Suggestions?

I am new to ADS.  I am running through the Quick Start guide.  It states that
when the server is rebooted, the console should show the state, "Connected to
DA".  I do see the message, "Connected to Windows".  Why does it not tell me
it is connected to the DA??? I have not found ...

i'm trying to install Windows Server 2003 standard R2 on a 'clean' Proliant
ML370 G4.
The install will only get as far as the Windows 2003 splash screen and then
'hang'.

I am totaly new to servers and I put server2003 r2 enterprise on a box and
the install was fine except for a NIC card. It does not support many of them.
I have tried the LNE100tx model by linksys and it is not supported.
I have tried the 3com 3C905-TX it ends up installing but ...

I have a problem with my RIS server. Client boots, you enter the credentials
required to access the domain and then it hangs at the blue screen before
the image selection screen appears
Previously it got to the image selection screen and then just died with blue
