My goal is to set up clients so that their desktop, favorites etc look the
same no matter what workstation they login on.  I think that is called
roaming profiles.  What newsgroup should I post in to ask about this?  I'm

Got a machine that just gave up the ghost and had to replace the boot drive.
I had Windows XP Pro on it and just reinstalled it. Now got a 120 G Disk one
partitionned with a small FAT32 (20G) partition and a larger (100 G) NTFS

On our Network, ADS can communicate with everything BUT our shared web
servers. Mail, SQL, etc.. all work perfectly, but the shared web servers do
not even respond to the ADS Port.

I have a customer that is trying to add a Windows Server 2003 to a NT 4.0
domain.  They can not upgrade to active directory for another 6 to 9 months.  
What is the best way to go about and do this.  I can not find anything in

I am trying to setup a new HP ML350 server with SBS 2003.
I use the smart start cd and when it comes to the option of hitting F6 to
specify additional drivers (which I need to do for the raid controller) it
does not respond and does not bring up the screen for me to specify the

I elevated a server to be another domain server and caused another instance
of Share Point Portal Server.  As a result the web site will not run  because
it is trying to run 2 copies although it is only possible to se one.  It
won't even uninstall.  Any ideas?
Windows 2003 SP1 caused lsass.exe crash25 May 2005 15:07 GMT2
Immediately after installing the SP1 on Windows Server 2003 the lsass.exe
crash and Shutdown Message appears even before login screen appearing.
It's possible that some of the software installed interferes with the SP1.
