NT4 server migrates to server 2003 std30 Apr 2005 18:35 GMT1
We have two NT4 servers: PDC & BDC and planning to be replaced with two new
servers running MS Server 2003 std.  Can any experienced one to share the
effective migration method for such scenario.

i have two U320 SCSI 72GB hard drives in RAID 1 (dual xeon 2.8 + 1G ram, HP
Pro Liant server).
I experienced very low hard disk performances, i.e. the same operation that
takes 1hour on a normal IDE hard disk takes 6hours on the server (the PC has
SP1 = System failure on old Pentium systems30 Apr 2005 01:06 GMT4
I spent the past 5 days investigating this and no matter what I try, SP1
can't be used on old Pentium systems.  I have 3 old Pentium servers that have
no harware in common, except for them using Pentium 233 MMX processors.
Upgrading all 3 of the systems to SP1 resulted in system ...

I must install Windows 2003 on a server with a disk in SAN (without local
disk), but when I try to install I have a blue screen.
I configured HBA for boot from disk on SAN.

I'm in the process of setting up a new AD Domain.  As a starting point, I've
installed 2 AD DCs with Windows Server 2003 Standard SP1 and set them up as
AD Domain Controllers.
So far, things seem to be running normally with them with the exception of

I have one Windows 2003 Enterprise Server that is being co-located
for me at a datacenter. It's running some pretty important stuff and
a recent drive failure has prompted me to add another server as a
full-time backup server.

   I have a machine running Windows Server 2003 and IIS 6.0 for Web and FTP
hosting.  Last Friday I installed service pack 1 and connectivity stopped.
From inside my network i was able to access the ftp sites and the web sites
running on that machine and everything seemed ok.  ...
