We currently have permissions setup for server files to be read only for
specific users, but we have found that they can still do certain things with
those files anyways.

I recently bought Windows 2003 server enterprise (5cal) OEM software that
was sold online with no box or license sticker. Is there a way to check
if it is a legal copy? Actualy who is the owner in this case?
Software alows for updates and all other options.

I have a Windows 2003 server where I turned off File and Printer Sharing,
then "shared" a folder in the root of the C: drive and had no problem
mounting it locally as the t: drive.   I then went to T: and was able to
view all the files.
