We have a primary DNS server hosted at our main office server room and a
secondary server at the branch office. But lately it does not seem to
synchronize, because there is an old DNS host record which has been deleted
on the primary server but still exist on the secondary server ...

We have 10.5.100.xx as the subnet for servers and 10.5.101.xx for desktops.
AD integrated type. On DNS servers, Forward lookup zones/domain.local/. I
can view all servers' IPs which are static. However, I don't see any

Hi All, Ive recently built a new network of 3 servers for a client and
configured the PDC as DNS, DHCp and Routing and Remote access server
(2 NICs)
Everyting is working ok apart from one thing... When I browse the

I have a current server 2000 domain, in which DNS works fine.
however in my server 2003 domain, the DNS forward lookup zone refuses to
fill with more than 20 results! and there should be around 4000 at least.
I wonder if there is some trust issues between the domains?

The other night we had several server A records get deleted from  DNS,
including, but not limited to, all of our Exchange servers.  The Reverse
records were not deleted.
I thought that we had scavenging turned on, with the following settings:

My Company recently upgraded to server2003R2x64 with the help of a Microsoft
Partner from Nt4.
The configuration we decided on was a Root Forest with a Child sub domain.
The AD infrastructure seems to work but I have been continually bothered by
