I have begun working for a company who has a public and private DNS tha
is different.  On the internal side the AD network is -company.local
while there are stand alone systems registered to the -company
workgroup and are shown to the world as -company.org-.  Both myself an

We are in the process of migrating to a new isp. We have already moved one
DNS server to a DMZ newtork, and the other is still on the "exposed" network.
I am looking for a way to (thru a Cisco ASA Firewall) to allow the MMC
application to manage BOTH servers.

I am having a real issue with Dynamic update in DNS. For some reason none of
my clients will register if I use Secure or Non secure updates. We are
running Windows 2003 with Active Directory Integrated DNS. I followed the

Hi,  this may be really simple but it is confusing me a bit.

I have created a WMI script that will change client machines to register in

I am currently running Server 2008 with AD integrated DNS.  There are not any
forwarders defined.  Note that I have seen the exact same issue with Server
2003.  The firewall/proxy is ISA 2006.
On occasion (once every coupel months) my users will be unable to go to

In my organisation, I have a domain iseva.com.
We are using windows 2003 Server in mixed mode.
Recently we have planned to create saparate child domains for saparate
projects.
