prWe have a website (hosted elsewhere, not local) that was made with a
Content Management System, some of it's webparts are accessed using
company.org, other by www.company.org. Our internal domain is named the same
as the external domain, ie. company.org. So for all the webparts ...

We have approx 30 DC's (all GC as well ) on 2003 R2 SP2 running and approx

they gave us the IP to point our WWW host record to.  How can we create a non

I've recently purchased a dedicated server from 1&1, with 2 ip addresses.
The idea being to host all of my websites and have my own nameservers for
easier setup of client websites.
However, I'm nut sure I've set the DNS stuff right, because although you can

I have windows 2003 and I enabled Scavenge Records on the DCs.  It is
enabled on the server level and the zone levels.  The No-Refresh Interval is
7 days and the Refresh Interval is 1 day(That's what our DHCP lease renewal
is).

I have installed Win 2003 on a virtual machine, and configured it as a DC and
a DNS server.  
I have configured static IP on the machine; within the (wireless) router
interface (Conceptronic), this appears to have a lease that does not expire

What are the pros and cons of having an AD integrated zone.  Does it put
more of a load on AD? increase fault tolerance?

Please help with DNS question I am exhausted!
I am trying to create an external trust between two domains. Both domains
consist of just a single server that is the domain controller and a file
server. Both have a few XP clients.

I am unable to load pictures for Amazon.com. Amazon must be using a CNAME for
their images server called "ecx.images-amazon.com". I saw a thread that
explains this but I am not able to get the suggested fix to work. Here is a

Hi, I have created virtual network in Virtual PC. I have installed Windows
2003 Server Trial and Xp Prof.  
In WXP prof I set in network adapter static IP - 192.168.10.2, Mask
255.255.255.0, Default DNS 192.168.10.1.

Today, one of our internal DNS servers began reporting every host resolution
as an address that has been traced to somewhere in China. The DNS server has
been fine for two years. We are actively trying to figure out what occurred.
