can someone please tell me how to block certian websites. our users
access some sites that i like to block. we have a firewall but dont
want to do anything in that.

I am setting up a new location(B) which will house its own 2003 DC.  I setup
the server and ran DCPROMO at the HQ site(A).  THe two sites have the same
domain name.I plan to move this DC to site B, which is connected to site A
through a VPN.

I manually removed the A records from the domain's forward lookup zone.
How do I immediately force the domain/server to locate/identify & create new

Hi;
About once every 2 - 3 weeks we need to bounce the DNS server on our
Windows 2003 server that we host our website on. What happens is it
stops resolving names and so emails from our webserver then get stuck

One year ago we concluded the migration from a Windows NT domain to a Windows
2003 domain.
During the migration there was a two-way trust between the two domains and
the servers appeared in the DNS in the Windows 2003 domain.

I have a SBS 2003 server which has just been updated with IE7 (following an
auto update). Our internet connection slowed to a halt and we were advised by
our ISP to remove IE7 as this could be the cause of the problems. Much as I
had my doubts, they insisted. So I removed IE7.

I have problems connecting to our .Com domain from the inside of our
Lan, but can get on the .Dk domain. (Both WWW hosted in the house)
I have resently changed to another ISP, and one of my programmers have changed
somthing in the DNS, but i can´t fix it ??
