I have been trying to clean up my DNS zones.  I have one zone that has a
169.254.157.45 IP address.  I know it's an automatically configured IP

from any domain to both domains hosted be the one Exchange server. (That I

I have about 1200 mailboxes in domain_a.com and about 30 in domain_B.com.

Weird DNS Entry31 Mar 2007 03:39 GMT1
Under my forward lookup zone I have an A record entry that states
(same as parent folder) Host (A) 169.254.172.169
It is under my DCs which are also my DNS servers.  It doesn't look like it
belongs there.  Should I delete it or that is a normal entry?

DNS best practices30 Mar 2007 22:11 GMT5
I'm looking over a 2003 server that was set up be someone else and found that
the forward lookup zones are not configured the way I'm used to. I'm used to
seeing a subdomain get confugured within the parent domain.  So,
east.contoso.com would be created and configured within the ...
