i`m setting up dns in an org that has 2 sites. i've got one DNS (DNS1) which
hosts the primary zones, one DNS (DNS2) in the same site that hosts secondary

This is the situation:
DNS-ADI-WINS1 = IP=200.1.1.1
DNS-ADI-WINS2 = IP=200.1.1.2

We had a 2000 domain on one subnet with AD and DNS on the DC.
We just added a second domain using 2003 on another subnet again with AD and

Hello.  I am having some dns issues, and I am hoping you guys can help

This is the error we get when a someone fills out a form on our
webserver and hits submit.
Windows 2000 server and NO exchange server. I have changed the dns but

Our DNS is on one of our 2003 domain controllers but I noticed is not AD

the secondary zone _msdcs.xxx.xx was refused by the master DNS server(s)".
The 6525 errors always refer to the secondary _msdsc zone.  The _msdcs zone
is an Active Directory Integrated Zone in the root ...

I would like to restrict access for the group responsible for
administering DNS in a domain to only those functions related to DNS.
DNS is installed on the domain controller. Would assigning them to the
DNSadmin group do the trick or would they need more permissions than

   domain.company.com       (new Win2003 ad domain)
