Is it possible for a website to exist on a particular server, and the emails go to a different server? Basically I have a client who wants me to be his email server, but his web page is hosted elsewhere.

My internal DNS server (active directory integrated) has a forwarder configured. I have also disabled recursion. I need to know how to permanently remove root hints from that server since I need it to only resolve names for internal hosts (I don't need root hints for that right?).

I have two native Windows 2003 server domains. In the DNS MMC for Domain A, Domain B is set as a secondary DNS. The initial transfer works fine, and names resolve properly. If I later try to manually Transfer from Master or Reload from Master, it always fails. Deleting

Situation: I recently configured a new server running Windows Server 2003 and HP SmartStart. During the installation, the server picked up an IP address from the DHCP server. It was not the address I wanted to use, so I changed it.

I have just moved our WinServ2003 externally. It has the WAN adapter @85.12.17.104, the internal LAN adapter is active but not connected @192.168.0.1. Now I try to use VPN for remote computers.
