I want to add a dns server on either a windows 2000 or 2003 server. How do I do that? We run it on nt4 currently and the configuration is odd to me at least as well. The domain name is salem and the dns zone is tmor.com

need to add DNS to a domain controller, that is already a member of an AD. When the server was promoted to a DC, the NIC settings on the card were pointing against a valid DC already installed in the AD. Can I just create a Primary Zone, and check the box that says store the data

I am setting up a remote site across a 512mb WAN link. The remote site will be an extension of the existing 2003 domain. I will have a 2003 DC Server and an Exchange 2003 server at both sites, I will also make the 2003 server at the remote site a Global catalogue server.
