Hi, While DFS-R was performing an Online defragmentation of the DFS-R DB, a restore job started using Backupexec 12. The DFS-R service was stopped, restore completed, DFS-R Service started.

I found a statement in MS DFS design document: "If the staging folder size is below 100 percent of the configured quota, DFS Replication will typically replicate nine files at a time." Does anybody have any more technical reference on this 9 file issue?

We currently redirect the desktop and My Documents to a folder on the server. Has anyone tried using DFS replication on this directory? Can you use the DFS root for folder redirection instead of \\<servername>? Please let me know.
