Like I have MYdomain.com but i also need Otherdomain.com with separated user lists and such. I think i mean like two forests on one server

I have promoted a member server to an DC, it's the 2nd DC in my zone.
My question is in the dcpromote process, it didn't copy the DNS record from
the Root DC to the 2nd DC.
Is this normal?  If not, how do I replicate the DNS record from the Root DC

I'm in a Domain in which we have two domain controllers and two DNS
