We want to set up a new domain controller for a new domain
and create a new domain tree in an esisting forest. when we run DCPROMO on
the new server we get an error stating that we need to run Adprep for both
forrest and domain.

When I type "net time" at the command line it always reports the time at a
specific DC (that doesn't even have any FSMO roles) rgardless of site or

In our AD domain I am able to bind to AD with a user that is a member of the
domain user group and view the AD directory. We also have ADAM installed and
