I’d like to restore my Active Directory (2k3) on a Virtual environment based on Virtual Server 2005 in order to practices this procedure. I’ve restored single users and OUs, however, I’ve never restored the entire directory on a server without the AD role installed.

I have 3 Windows 2003 R2 servers in my test environment. (A, B and C) When a DFS replication group is created on A or B, it replicates to all other servers (A,B and C) quickly showing up in DFS management (and file replication starts quickly).

I am upgrading about 100 desktops. Currently I have windows XP pro envoirnment. New PC's will have the same. Is there a script that I can use that will allow me to join multiple computer to my domain, instead of going to each computer and joining them manually?

We are about to do a domain name change in Active Directory and I am currently running Certificate Authority on an independent server. Will I need to rebuild this server after running the rendom.exe tool? Or will a double reboot of the server make any changes necessary? Thx.
