We had have an issue with one of our DC recently, we've got about 15 DCs throughout the city and recently we constantly get "rpc server unavailable" particualary when we connect tot the server via AD UC for Administration.

Hi, we have two sites A and B in domain Company.com. When logging into a server supposedly from site B, it DOES connect to the local domain controller to authenticate. But if I try to ping "Company.com" from that server, it tries to contact a domain controller in site A.

How do I configure AD so users in Group A have their accounts locked out if they enter the incorrect password three times, however, users in Group B do not have any account lockout policy. I'd appreciate any assistance with the aforementioned question.

Can anyone tell me what this error may be related to? Windows cannot obtain the domain controller name for your computer network. (A socket operation was attempted to an unreachable host.)

I have 10 or so DC's, 2 local. When one was down i got this error on my ctx server. Failed to get token handle for user account AA\BB. Reason: There are currently no logon servers available to service the logon request.
