I need help with my windows 2003 native network, My main 2003 std server dc crashed and when i tried rebooting it it showed that the active directory was rebuilding indicies and never finished. The only way I was able to bring the server back online was to do a repair

For "setspn -A" to work, does the computer that you're specifying have to be online at the time you issue "setspn -A"? Thanks.

I might be a little uninformed, er, stupid, our server syncs the information on some users laptops and not others. It appears at one point the all were but based on the file mode dates nearly all stopped. My never used to sync but now every time I shut it off I get the syncing

Does anyone know if changes are going to be needed to System.DirectoryServices et al to support read-only domain controllers in Server 2008? We're looking into deploying them and I'm wondering how it's going to affect my C# directory-aware capps in the branch

we have two Iomega Storcenter Pro 150d NAS in our network. Since we migrated the domain to windows 2008(Windows 2008 native mode), we are not able to acces the shares on the NAS anymore. We always get a "login failed" message. Web login still works.
