I need help with my windows 2003 native network,
My main 2003 std server dc crashed and when i tried rebooting it it showed
that the active directory was rebuilding indicies and never finished.
The only way I was able to bring the server back online was to do a repair

For "setspn -A" to work, does the computer that you're specifying have to be
online at the time you issue "setspn -A"?

I might be a little uninformed, er, stupid, our server syncs the information
on some users laptops and not others. It appears at one point the all were
but based on the file mode dates nearly all stopped.
My never used to sync but now every time I shut it off I get the syncing

How do I go about finding what OU a specific user belongs to without having
to drill down searching for them in Active Directory?

We are not using MS AD currently and we would like to migrate it in the near
