We have a new 2008 server just added to an existing 2003 domain. Everything
is going fine, but we are unable to edit anything in the sysvol\scripts
folder on the server. We can edit them from other machines browsing to the
2008 server, just not from the server itself.

if a domain controller was doing double duty as a file server as well (yes I
know, a no no, but necessary in this instance) what were the minimum level of
permissions necessary be to back up the files in the file server shares?
