I am having trouble getting the ADprep tool to do much of anything. From the resources I checked - I should be using adprep / forest prep and then adprep /domainprep from the CD #2. I can locate the file on the CD properly.

I have Windows SBS 2003 server with Service pack 2 installed. I am trying to install a second domain controller. I did a clean install of Windows 2003 Server R2 Standard edition with service pack 2 and ran all windows updates. The server properly joined to the domain.

I am in the process of upgrading / reorganizing my AD and domain controllers. Unfortunately, on a now retired DC there was a file share that was used for GPO software deployment. I would like to just turn off this old DC, but I need for the GPO to still work.
