i want to join a winXP client in a domain for apply group policies
the problem is that the domain controller isn't in the local area network
but in another subnet connecetd with router
how can i obtain the name of the DC while joining the client?

I am looking for a way of finding out where certain security groups have
been applied. E.g. lists of shares, or other areas that a security group has
