Some of our guys login in the morning, there login script and authentication
occurs from remote site (Ireland) instead of local DC. We have 3 sites with 4
DC.

i need to allow a helpdesk group in AD (win2003) to join a computer to the
domain, and create the computer account if it doesnt exist.... ive tried
everything, read every possible article.... nothing works. can someone help?
this shouldnt be so difficult

I am getting an error appear in the event log of my forest root Domain
Controller, the error is as follows:
Event Type:    Error
Event Source:    KDC

OK...in sites and services...i have 5 sites...in those sites are
servers...one per site which is GC, defualt site has 2 servers..not
under NTDS i have server connections...some are auto..some are manual
made...i have deleted connections that were auto and sometimes they come

Odd one. I recently moved our environment from NT4.0 domain model to Active
Directory (W2K_Server model).
It was fairly painless once I figured out a few things, but this morning I
had a problem that really stumped me.

I have a question that if I have 5 domain controllers and I want that only
one of them should be used for authentication. is it possible? I know that it
is a ramdom process but still want to make one machine mainly for
authentication.
