Can anyone assist or recommend a course of action for me?
I have a site that has 1 domain controller that has all the FSMO roles
including DNS, DHCP, & WINS. Windows 2003 standard is loaded on this machine.

someone encrypted a file on there computer in the domain, is the domain admin
setup by default to be the recovery agent or is there something i have to

I hadnt noticed this before.. but lately.. if I reboot our one domain
controller, clients running Outlook 2003 on XP, get the "trying to
connect to" server error messages while the domain controller is being
rebooted.

Sometimes, kinda rare, it doesn't execute for various users.  Our
helpdesk team has to Remote Control them and run it manually from

" domain security policy" and in active directory there is " group policies"
what is the difference between them all do all the policies affect all the

membership, role and profile services and there is no mention of using MS
ADAM or AzMan as a ASP.NET 2.0 provider for these 3 services.
