I've got a DC (Windows 2000 SP4) that I know is fully functional, but the
machine account is not showing up in AD Users and Computers. Does anyone have
experience with this senario?

I have been getting an error messages (every 10 minutes) in event viewer
from all Windows 2000 servers after i upgraded our NT 4 Domain to Windows
2003 Active Directory. Here is the error message:

I moved all 5 FSMO roles to a new domain controller, replication succeeded
and DNS seems OK but I can only log into the domain at the console of the
new controller when I pull the old controller offline.  What else am I

We have W2k domain with 10 child domains.
We are about to upgrade to Windows 2003 and are currently planning the
forest and domain preparation of the top domain.
As we upgrade we will also consolidate the child domains into one new child

We have multiple Windows 2000 Domains over 4 sites which we now wish to
consolidate however still delegate control.
Aside from creating trusts between each, is there a way so we can create

I am having trouble trying to use adamsync to get information to the
ADAM server.   I think my problem is related to my conf_public.xml
file.  I think its missing some kind of option required.  I looked in
the help file but its not very detailed.  Has anyone seen this error?

I am having trouble connecting my WinXP Pro SP-2 system to my Win2K3 SP-1
