I`ve got an AD where the forest name (seeit.local) is equal to the domain name (seeit.local). The forest only consits of one domain. Is this normal/correct or does this include problems when I add other domains? Thanks for answer in advance!

I have got eight AD sites each one with a DC. I could imagine a situation that could occur(human error) where the AD in each of these sites gets corrupted in some form or other and that I would like to go back to an earlier version of the AD(from a backup)
