Connecting two servers via ADSL?28 Jul 2005 18:58 GMT8
Hello, I've got a question about setting up servers via ADSL that I'm hoping
someone will be able to answer.
I'm not new to Microsoft networking or how a server works but I feel I'm a
bit rusty on multiple server things.

Out of Disk Space!28 Jul 2005 17:09 GMT3
We have a very large mailstore on a disk that does not have much space left
after the databases. Today someone tried to send out an e-mail with a 250 MB
attachment, this attachment ends up in the Exchsvr\mailroot\vsi \queue
folder. Once this happens all of the disk space is gone, ...

Random Reboots28 Jul 2005 16:12 GMT4
I just installed AD on a Windows 2003 server, making it the first W2k3 DC in
the Windows 2003 domain. All seemed to go well but now the server randomly
reboots w/o warning. There's no memory dump file and nothing in the event
long that indicates a failed service or process. The ...
Allowed: Same name for forest and domain?28 Jul 2005 15:47 GMT1
I`ve got an AD where the forest name (seeit.local) is equal to the domain
name (seeit.local). The forest only consits of one domain.
Is this normal/correct or does this include problems when I add other domains?
Thanks for answer in advance!

Restoring an earlier version of AD28 Jul 2005 11:22 GMT2
I have got eight AD sites each one with a DC.
I could imagine a situation that could occur(human error) where the AD in
each of these sites gets corrupted in some form or other and that I would
like to go back to an earlier version of the AD(from a backup)
Need help with adding a 2003 server to a 2000 domain.28 Jul 2005 07:16 GMT4
Okay, this is probably something horribly stupidly simple to fix, but i'm
missing the proper means of doing so.
When I arrived on this site the domain it's self was in trouble - lots of
evidence of a bad history - none of the FSMO roles were held by the single

Many Thanks,

Are there some diference between a Distribution List and Groups?

Partition Magic27 Jul 2005 23:56 GMT1
Is there a version of Partion Magic that I can use on a Win2003 server on
AD?  Currently, there's only 450MB free space on C:\, but more than 34GB
free on partitioned D:\.  I'd like to reallocate some space around from D:\
to C:\.
