Hello all. I was wondering what is the best way to find old computer accounts
and move them or delete them in AD. I'm new to this company and they have 500
PCs but the AD shows 800+. Plus this makes managing SMS somewhat of a mess.

is there an easy way in active directory to track users logging on to pc's?
My supervisor needs to gets dates and times of a particular user logging on
to a particular pc. We have a mixed environment of windows 2000 and server

I have set up desktop backgrounds and screen savers in AD group policy,
however in a GP that has 10 users & computers 7 are showing the correct
background 3 and not showing a background.  I have checked the desktop
properties and it shows the correct logo for t he background so ...

When the firewall is active on our XP SP2 clients we cannot perform remote
control activities. Would it be through Group Policy that we could set a rule
to open specific ports for access around the firewalls?

We have windows2000 workgroup users & Active directory server on windows 2003.
We are trying to keep the users on domain & copying all their local desktop &
all their emails to domain desktop & outlook express. It is a big task to do
it.

I'm using a script to change the DisplayName for a group of users. The
script is working and after it finished to run, i check the user's
displayname and everything is fine.

assigned the following roles:
