Is there a way to get around re-setting up the user profile when you join a
new computer into a domain.  I have several hundred computers that will be
brought into a new domain and I dont want to have to migrate every users data
to a new xp profile.  Any advice would be helpful

 We'r erunnind 2003 AD server and XP clients. One of the user's account
frequently gets locked out. He has to call help desk often to unlock it and
it would take him 30-40 mins to log back in. Any solutions?

Hi I'm fairly new to Active Directory and would like to know if anyone has
been able to replicate
information fom LDAP server v3 to Windows 2003 Active directory. The LDAP
server is running on a Unix box.

I have a W2K3 print server.  When I go to Network Places on my XP
workstation and drill down to my server, I do not see the Printers & Faxes
folder.  Other Network Admins do.  My workstation is a clone from another
workstation which cannot see the folder either.  I suspect it is ...

If I cannot get a new DC to correctly replicate with the old DC, is there a
way I can manually copy over all the information so that I can turn off the
old DC?

almost 100 users.50/100 of the users'home folder are residing in the OLD
server.Now I have to find all these 50 users in AD and red-direct these

About as often as not, when I try to migrate a computer (NT, 2K or XP), the
migration agent install fails with an error pertaining to the RPC server.  
Any ideas on why?  We haven't deliberately removed RPC from any computers.
