I have been tasked to implement ADAM, and to synchronize it with Active

i have a big problem with the import of computer accounts in ou Acitve
Directory.
After I import and reboot one server in our Active Directory, a normal

/way to just export all the data I need i.e. users, groups with membership,
domain controllers, computers, group policies etc. in an Excel readable

I have quite interesting problem. We have set max password age as 30 days
And also the users will be prompted to change the password.
Problem is the users are thrown an error saying that :" You dont have
permission to change the password".

Platform: Windows 2003 AD with an empty root
We are installing an Enterprise CA in our Active Directory 2003 Forest. All
our resources, users, and computers and effective GP settings are in a
domain under the empty forest root domain.

I have setup a taskpad view with delegated rights to a Helpdesk group so
they have rights to create, delete etc users within that OU.  I have also
added a user called $TEMPLATE$ so that they can copy from this user to a new
user.

NT Authority/Network Service is missing from my Domain Active Directory. This
is a new install of Server2003 and I have not deleted anything from the
Active Directory. How do I enable this built-in user/account? Everything
listed on the Microsoft site or otherplaces assumes this ...

I named my domain the same name as the Internet DNS name used to access the
company's website.
Ex. Domain = MyCompany.com, website = http://www.MyCompany.com

I have recently upgraded my network from a workgroup to a domain.  The user
accounts I have created in Active Directory can now only access documents and
folders on their local machines as "Read Only".  
Any advise would be appreciated.
