My troubles started after the rebooting of a win2k3 domain server. All my windows 2000 machines seem fine, but my windows xp machines are unable to browse network. When I click on the domain in the Microsoft Windows Network view, an error with the following message pops up.

I would like to know if it is possible to disable the "Search for Active Directory" from XP. With this feature you can see users, groups and computers. My concern is that I don't want the users to see membership of groups.

I have a local network with windows 2003 DC (with all the FSMO roles) with two IP ranges 10.10.180.x and 10.11.180.x (I can't change it). I have a few PCs in 10.11 range. That computers are configured, as all the others, for dynamic IP configuration with DHCP.
