I understand how to password protect a Word doc. Our problem is that we do not want our techs to be able to copy the templates from our laptops (that we provide them) onto a usb drive to use for their own enterprise. There are 5 .dots that have 4 years of improvements.

my company recently was broken in by a burglar and all the laptops was stolen. We are using Microsoft Vista. May I know any other security that provide added security to our laptop to deter unauthorised person to login to our laptops other than just the user id and password.

I have Win2k3 web SP2 ENG, one network card and 2 ethernet interfaces on it or 2 ip address. ICS is turned ON and turned ON "exceptions". Now telnet's port listen on all interfaces, but very need that telnet listen on only one ip. How I can do it?

Hi there, I am just wondering if anyone knows if Microsoft has released a scanning tool to confirm if kb870669 has been installed successfully yet on all network pc's? I am aware you can check add/remove programs but this is to be done remotely. Any help would be appreciated.

Question - does the free version of ZoneAlarm 7.0.483.0 can be installed on a home gateway pc? I am aware that it does run ok on an individual pc which is a part of the home network, but, the free version does not work on the gateway. Any comments?
