Is it true that when we type a password the keystrokes are egistered in the computer memmory and can be stilled by a hacker? If it is how can we protect that? Thanks for help

I downloaded a file (let's call it BLUESKY.EXE) which my anti- virus guard says may be a virus. I wanted to get more info about this file, so I disabled it by adding a couple of random letters to the extension.

Being a system administrator I am logged onto multiple systems at one time. I go to work on something and I get distracted. I have locked the workstations, however, I am wondering if there's a way in A.D. (Server 2003 R2 SP1) if I can find out which systems I am logged onto?

I'm running OneCare 1.5 final with Vista RTM 32bit and I have a question relating to OneCare; is this the place to post it? I was going to post in the Vista NG but I didn't think it was appropriate there. And I couldn't find a NG that specifically deals with OneCare.

I was notified by a network administrator that one of our servers is running a full port scan on their network. How can I detect how this is being done on our server. They sent a log that shows the Time Stamp, Attack, Source IP, and Destination IP.
