On a workstation that is attached to my domain will the security policy that the domain supplies override any local policies? Can a local workstation policy trump the domain policy if it is more restrictive? Thanks in advance for any help and information that you caan provide.

I cannot access a secure site for which I have installed a certificate from my LAN internet connection (DSL), but I CAN access the site if I connect to the internet through dial-up connection. At one time I was able to connect via LAN, but it quit working.

I have a Win2k3 DC and need a user to be able to perform updates on the DC. The user sits in the top level domain in the same AD tree. The DC is of a child domain. The user is in all groups except Domain Admins for the child domain because it is a global group.
