I have a client that is fully setup on terminal server. Their
workstations are E-Machines, Win 2000 Prof, 64MB RAM (don't laugh, I
didn't spec them).
Everything has been moved to where the Workstations are still members of

desktop machine at home, the login dialog has the 'Log on using dial-up

TermServScaling document states that we need only 1 HP DL380 server but if I
go to HP's site and user their Terminal server sizer tool, it shows that we

I am receiving this event on a number of occassions with Terminal Server
clients. On the server it reports event id 1000 when logging into a session.
This happens any time of the day. I get the profile cannot be loaded as well
as insufficient system resources.

Hi there, I urgently need some advice for a faitly complicated scenario, I

I would like to know the licensing requirements for the following scenario:
We have 2 servers available to install TS Licensing on Windows 2003 available.

So I turned on the security audit logging and that gives me who logged in
but I'd also like to capture the IP address they connected from.  Is there
an easy way to do this?

server say it's CAL tokens are "per device" and has issue 8 permanent

User logs in via a Thin Client one day without problem.  The next day,
same user, same Thin Client, gets this error:

I have several XP machines that can RDP each other and use file
redirection with no problem.  My office machine however is a Win2k
server.  If I RDP into that machine, it does not map local drives to
its Win Explorer.  I just installed the latest XP remote desktop file

A few of my users that are external to my network are getting the following

this same data via a lan.  any idea why the remote clients would be fast but
the data access for the local workstation would be slow?  Switch is 100mbs
and so are all nics... 8 local workstations and 8 remote ...
