I have a win2k terminal server with 5 users. The box is a new Dell with
1.5Gig ram and 1.8gighz Celeron. The users use Quickbooks, MS-office 2002
pro, ACT and Internet Explorer.
We are running into lots of lockups and freezing at the client end as well

I have a serious problem.
The user is logged on and everything is working properly.  Suddenly, he
receive a window saying: "THE TERMINAL SERVER HAS ENDED THE CONNECTION", and
the user is disconnected.

machines (from what I gather mostly XP Pro users) can not connect to the
server in full-screen mode.  Basically, the default TSWeb page is sent to

Our terminal server shut down unexpectedly,disconnecting
all sessions. When we went to turn it back on, it appears
as though it is not finding the hard drive. It starts to

I installed an evaluation W2K3 server and noticed that while there is more
control over the user "experience" than with W2K server (ie better color
