NT 4 Server setup problem on IBM xSeries 206 server27 Jan 2006 01:27 GMT1
I am attempting to install NT Server 4.0 on an IBM xSeries 206 server
with 3.06 GHz Pentium 4, 512Mb memory and 2 x 80 Gb SATA drives. These
are setup as one logical drive using the built-in IBM SATA Raid
controller (Raid 1).

For some reason, my desktop icons were all changed to Outlook icon, in fact,
it seems outlook icon lays on top of my desktop icons. I tried changing
icon, but it didn't do anything. Please help. Thanks.
Trying to install NT  4.0 over Win Me16 Jan 2006 12:15 GMT3
I am trying to install Win NT on Win Me laptop. I have the hardware
requirements and the installation CD's.When I attempt to install using
the CD I get the following error:
Windows NT Workstation Setup

My hard drive has the following hard drive structure:
Primary Partition 1 - FAT32 (1 GB)
Primary partition 2 - NTFS (Windows 2000) - 3.5 GB
I would like to install Windows NT 4.0 Workstation onto partition 1.

i am setting up win nt on an ibm netvista 8319hbu.
it has a standard ide controller.
i crate a 2000 mb partition using fdisk formatted to fat16.
then boot using win 98 boot cd.

Can anyone please tell me what ports are needed for OWA and Netbios to allow
users to connect to thier email from the outside to operate?
