I have a windows NT Server and the policy is that users are forced to change their password every 30 days. At the moment two weeks prior to the expiry of the current password they get a message asking them if they want to change the password as it will expiry in x days.

When I update Windows NT4.0 with the SP6a Update should I install the 40 bit or the 128 bit encryption files , because I will have nothing else but a clean install . ...so 128 bit encryption is better ?

I have an IBM optical mouse on my NT workstation. It seems no one in the org can use the scroll button or wheel, it just does not work. Is there any known drivers that can enable the wheel on NT???? Thanks.....Bill

I will buy a Win 2k OEM CD to install on a computer with Win 2k that has problems Q1. Must I delete the old Win 2k (WINNT folders etc)before doing the Setup/Install ?

In attempting to do the upgrade, I now have both operating systems on my computer. How do I wind up running only Win 2000 and having it recognize everything on my hard disk? Is the first step to delete Win 2000 and if so, how do I do this, as it appears to be a 'clean' install ...
