A friend has just obtained a re-conditioned computer with Windows NT. When he tries to switch it off (Start>Turn Off Computer>Turn Off), the computer continues running and he has to power down with the On/Off switch. Can anyone point us in the right direction to resolve this ...

Knowing that Windows NT 4 Server does not support USB interface, I consider if it can work with hard drives with serial ATA interface before buying one. Thank you in advance.

Can someone help? I've tried everything I can think of, to no avail. My wife has a laptop with NT on it. I had to reinstall NT after a 3rd party USB add-on failed and messed up the OS. (it took away the no keyboard and mouse!)

On one of PCs in network I have occasionally blue screen with "KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED address a001f651 has base at a0000000 - win32k.sys". Do anybody some idea? Thanks.

I would like to restrict the programs listing of applications to just 'Startup' on a NT 4.0 training machine. After the student clicks Start then Programs he should just see the Startup option, how do I configure this? Thanks

I have a WinNT4.0 Server SP6. I have all flavors of workstations on the network (Win95, 98SE, 2K, and XP). I cannot reliabley see all of the workstations in the Network Neighborhood window. Why? Is there a way to get all of the workstations seen?
