I have 2 computers, D and L, on a 100BT LAN. When both were running
W98SE, file sharing worked right. I installed W2K on D, and I think I

NT 4 servers - the only used to host the user's home drive. This is darn
annoying as you loose your favourites, "my documents" etc. If you open My

As I'm sure everyone is aware by now, support for NT4 ceases on December 31 this
year. Well - not strictly true - Microsoft have announced that PAID contract
support will be available on an individual basis, for payment of a quarterly
fee, for the next 2 years to the end of 2006.

somehow corrupted in the years sitting in my garage.  Does any one know where

I?m trying to install WIN NT Server 4.0 ( SP6.0) on a brand new system with
Intel ICH5 865PE Chipset (MSI NeoV-2)
Setup copies most of the files an then on the same point the PC restarts.
Last file to be copied is DVD-ROM Pattern.

Ive been handed an 8GB hard drive (Fujitsu) with WIN 95.  On startup it
registers as 243MB drive.  Ic ant load NT onto it as theres no room.  Icant
