Window 2000.
I have created a normal user and a restricted user on my PC.  When I
login in either account, I can read very file even the files in the
administrator account.

Hi everyone, I am having a problem with my modified login script. By
default my script runs with 3 mapped drives. I deleted the drive I
didn't want to connect and then ran the script, The unwanted drive
still showed up. I was hoping someone can help.. Please..

Our company has a server with Windows NT 4.0.  We are in the process of
upgrading the server to Windows 2003.  Before we do this project I would like
to replace the four hard drives in it.  The current configuration of the hard
drives is as follows:

We have a NT4 pc which is now only occasionally used. POwered it up this
morning and it will not accept the logon password last used.
Any suggestions as to why this happened and how can the problem be overcome.

After installing NT, I am unable to get any Service Packs. I have
downloaded SP6, but can install with out updating my Browser. I
downloaded IE 6.0 and cant to it without updating to Newest SP. So I
download IE 4.01 and it wont install either. Does anyone know the

Can you apply service packs to NT servers while users are still logged in?
Whould it be possible to install the SP and not re-boot untill the users are
logged off?

Is there a reg edit or something that will give us the Quick Launch
bar option back?  I'm in a new contract and there is no toolbar option
in the context menu of the taskbar, as there is in Win98SE, Win2K and

Ok, here's the problem I created today...
I am working on a system with an Epox 8K5A2+ motherboard with the Highpoint
370 RAID controller.  This box is not currently using RAID, and contains 3
IDE drives.  One is set up as the Primary Master on the first RAID

I am running NT 4.0 with SP6
After installing a piece of software, I was getting MFC42.dll errors
that were preventing it from booting (right at the Windows NT splash
screen).  So ... I took the disk out and moved it to a Windows 2000 PC
